    Welcome to Haywood Hall

    The house is open from
    March through December
    Thursdays, 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

    (The house is closed for maintenance
    from the end of December
    to the beginning of March. 
    However the house is available for 
    special event bookings.)


    There is no charge for admission.
    However, donations are greatly appreciated.

    The gardens are open all year round.

    Private tours of Haywood Hall can be arranged by contacting the Resident Manager

    WEDDING CEREMONIES
    Many couples choose our intimate garden setting to share their vows.

     Our gardens are graced with resplendent color year round, and particularly the months of March through November. 

    There are many settings throughout the gardens and front yard that couples have utilized for their ceremony. Please check our wedding gallery page  for some ideas.

    Haywood Hall is located at
    211 New Bern Place
    Raleigh, North Carolina, 27601

    New Bern Place is the first left off of North Blount street right after the Blount/E.Edenton street intersection. Once you have passed the Governors Mansion on Blount Street we will be the first left after the stoplight at the Edenton/Blount intersection. 








    Lunch and Dinner events

    COCKTAIL PARTIES AND DINNERS
    Families have hosted birthday and anniversary parties, and corporations have held evening receptions at Haywood Hall. Similar to wedding receptions, the event planners typically serve food and beverages either inside or outside, depending upon the type of event, the guests, and the caterer.


    BRUNCHES AND LUNCHEONS
    Friends have also hosted bridal shower luncheons at Haywood Hall, parents have celebrated their children’s christening, and businessmen have held meetings and luncheons with colleagues.
